Aha AI is a dictionary anyone can read without signing up. This site collects no personal information that could identify you. This policy states plainly what the site actually stores and which outside services it calls.

Personal information collected directly

None. There is no account and no sign-in, and no form asks for a name, email address or phone number. Term search runs inside your browser, and what you type is never sent to a server.

What is stored in your browser

Two things, kept only in your browser: your display mode (dark or light), and your answer to "Did this analogy help?". Neither is sent to a server, and both disappear when you clear this site's data in your browser. This site sets no cookies of its own.

Outside services this site uses

Google Analytics (GA4) — used to count how often each term is read. It may use cookies. When you press the analogy feedback button, the term name, whether it helped, and the language you are reading are sent along. No name, contact detail or other identifying information is included.

Google AdSense — this site shows automatic ads. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies or advertising identifiers to show personalized ads. You can turn personalized ads off in Google Ad Settings.

Cloudflare Pages — the hosting that serves this site. Access records such as IP addresses may be processed for security and operations.

jsDelivr — delivers the body typeface. Your IP address reaches that service at the moment the font is fetched.

Retention and sharing

Because the site holds no personal information, there is no retention period to state. Questions sent by email are used only to reply and are deleted once handled. Nothing is sold or handed to third parties.

What you can do

Clearing this site's data in your browser removes everything stored there. Personalized ads can be turned off in Google Ad Settings, and Analytics collection can be blocked with the Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on. For anything else, use the contact below.
